Daisy is here...

Both girlies are asleep, why am I not taking a nap?? Oh well, Daisy Maurine was born on September 19 at 9:13 pm. Everything went great...I love having babies. I went into the hospital around 5:45pm and had her 3 1/2 hours later (maybe that is why I love it). She was 8lbs 11oz and 20 1/2 in long. Just perfect all around. She is just as sweet as I could have imagined.
I started to take a nap and had to capture this precious little face in a picture.

What a wonderful feeling, to hold that baby after 9 months of waiting ;)

She is ticked, I can't remember why but I thought it was cute.

Lucy likes to point out that she does have eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. She finds it is hilarious when she sticks out her tongue.

She is doing really great so far with her. I love watching Lucy look at her and get all excited. She loves to lay down beside her when Daisy is sleeping. It is so cute.

Yes I am going to POP!

Oh how sick I am of people asking me if I am going to pop. I don't think I would care if I hadn't been hearing this question for the past 8 weeks or so! I am just ultra sick of random strangers coming up to me freaking out about how huge I am. This one lady at the grocery store stopped dead in her tracks and stared at me for a few seconds and said, "Wow, wow, wow! You look like you are going to pop. How far along are you?!" Like I am some kind of freak show or something. I was so irritated by her and how she was staring at me. Haven't people ever seen a pregnant woman near her due date before???
