Daisy just turned 3 months old and it is about time I get my butt back into shape! Spud is off for the next 3 weeks for Christmas break and I thought that would be perfect time get into a routine. Not to mention all the Christmas goodies I will need to burn off. So today was my first day, after Daisy woke up for her 5 o'clock feeding I put on my dusty running shoes and took off. I made it for about 5 minutes until I had to start walking due to horrible crampings that came over my whole body. My body started shutting down, it had no idea what it was doing! But I did it, I jogged/walked (rapidly may I add) for 30 whole minutes. I thought the hard part was over when I reached my nice, warm, and cozy home but the hardest part was yet to come; abs. Oh my gosh! I am scared for tomorrow to come, 1- to do it again and 2- to see just how sore I am. But maybe I can lose some of that jiggle that follows behind me as I walk. Wish me luck!

the coupon craze

My friend Jazmin has been telling me how she saves a butt load on groceries and etc using coupons. I never really saw the point on collecting all these coupons to save 35 cents on something you have to buy 2 or 3 of. I mean is that really worth your time and effort? But it totally is. She showed me what she does and how she does it. It is crazy how much she saves. So after her teaching me all she knows I was sent off on my own to save me some money! Tonight was my first night and let me tell ya it was so hard! I forgot to use some of my coupons, I bought some stuff that wasn't on sale that I thought it was, and the topper I looked at todays ads that start tomorrow thinking they were the ones from Sunday!! So nothing was on sale that I thought was. I was walking through the store thinking those ads totally lied the crescent rolls aren't 3 for 4 dollars, and apple juice isn't 2 for 3 dollars. Then I found out I was a day early on the sales!! How embarrassing! But all in all I think I did pretty good, here is what I got.
3 big bags of all natural chicken nuggets (99 cents a bag)
2 bottles of vegetable oil (99 cents a bottle)
1 box of raisins
8 cans of vegetables
8 cans of chicken broth
10 cans of cream of mushroom and chicken soup
3 bags of chocolate chips (50cents a piece! that was the most exciting one!)
the grand total = 28 bucks
I have definitely learned a few things about the couponing world and so next time I will be better than before! As weird as it sounds it is actually pretty fun.

Where did my time go...
I am finding it a bit harder to find my time. Between changing diapers, feeding babies, bathing little booties, soothing Daisy, kissing my babies, making dinner, trying to keep a somewhat clean house, playing with Lucy, reading scriptures, laundry, and trying to be a good YW leader; it is a wonder I am able to find my camera and take a few pictures! And yeah I know I only have 2 kids! I am still just getting used to it though. Slowly, very slowly but it will happen some day. Probably when I am about to have another baby but it will happen.
So, yesterday I was just trying to find my hair brush so I could dry my hair before going to a church meeting, was that so much to ask? To look half way decent one day out of the week? Yes, of course it was, because Lucy likes to brush her hair as well, with the same brush so where the devil did she put it?? I looked for 20 minutes plus. I mean our house isn't that big. I even dared to go into her room while she was napping. How many places could she possibly put it? Well I never did find it and had to make do with a different brush (it worked but my hair was half dry by that point). Anyways I found it today, Lucy decided to put it in her own special drawer in her room. Little booger, I guess I better get used to sharing with 2 girls growing up in my house. But time or not, I love these little gals and I would do anything for them. I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with them everyday and to be their mama.
I love this sweet, chubby face!
Another thing I share, she has some what of a shoe fetish.

The other night when I was going to put her in her crib, she ran into her little play house and decided she wanted to sleep there. So I found her sacked out like this an hour later still with her tooth brush in hand. Oh and don't mind the messy room this is one of the days I didn't keep up on my housework.

Bad days...
So having two kids...pretty freakin hard. Lucy will have a good day but that day Daisy is having a bad day and vice versa. It isn't often that they both have a good day at the same time. But all in all these girls are fun. I am exhausted and I don't know how much fun I am, but it only can get better from here, right? Someone tell me I am right!
I couldn't resist taking this picture.

Daisy is here...
Both girlies are asleep, why am I not taking a nap?? Oh well, Daisy Maurine was born on September 19 at 9:13 pm. Everything went great...I love having babies. I went into the hospital around 5:45pm and had her 3 1/2 hours later (maybe that is why I love it). She was 8lbs 11oz and 20 1/2 in long. Just perfect all around. She is just as sweet as I could have imagined.
I started to take a nap and had to capture this precious little face in a picture.

Yes I am going to POP!
Oh how sick I am of people asking me if I am going to pop. I don't think I would care if I hadn't been hearing this question for the past 8 weeks or so! I am just ultra sick of random strangers coming up to me freaking out about how huge I am. This one lady at the grocery store stopped dead in her tracks and stared at me for a few seconds and said, "Wow, wow, wow! You look like you are going to pop. How far along are you?!" Like I am some kind of freak show or something. I was so irritated by her and how she was staring at me. Haven't people ever seen a pregnant woman near her due date before???

My little mama
Lucy my crazy little baby who is scared of nothing, can also be this sweet caring little girl. I love it! She got her first baby doll before she was even 1, but the past couple of months she has been so into takin care of her and becoming a little mother. One of the words she has down to a tee is baby. She knows exactly what it is and will point one out at any time or place. It is so cute especially since she will have a real one here in the next month.

Gosh I can't believe the summer is coming to an end. How sad I am AND there isn't one single post I have written about it. It had been such a long time I forgot the name of our blog!! Well so here are a few pictures of this summer and what we had been up to. We went to Utah a couple times, I went to girls camp, we had family come and stay with us, went camping at the lake, and that is about all. But we had a fun time and I am sad it is over :( except for how stinkin hot it is!
.jpg)
Lucy loved camping (except when it was time for bed, that was a bit rough for the both of us).

She loved being on the 4 wheeler, she could never get enough of that or of all the pop she drank.
Our homemade wagon and no, we can't afford a wagon!

A little worn out from swinging you could say.
Oh my gosh I was so glad when that HUGE jar of pickles were gone. I was sick of my little girl smelling like pickles, but it is cute how much she loves those darn things.
So Lucy's hair is getting quite scraggly and long in the back but it curls and I just can't bring myself to cut it (I know so stupid). So I thought if she would let me do something with it I wouldn't have to cut it. The pigtails were so cute but only lasted about 5 minutes till she realized there was something in her hair. EErrrr!

A beachin' good time
We went to this beach over spring break called Paradise Cove and it was such a nice beach. It was one of the nicer ones I have been to. Anyways we had such a good time. Lucy absolutely loved it. It was really cute watching her get so excited and act so interested in everything. She loved playing in the sand and walking in the water. Spud caught a sand crab and Lucy grabbed it and held it. She is such a daring little girl. I love it. She isn't scared of anything it seems like. Maybe it is cause she is so young too. But we had such a good time and she didn't want to leave even when she face planted it in the sand.
I love her chubby little legs in this picture, I wanna bite 'em!
It was hard for me to leave this hideous picture of me up, (I don't know where my boobs went and I won't even start on my big face!) but it was the only one I have and I wanted to prove I was actually there. Since I never appear in the other pictures. The reason why Lucy is dressed as a bee was cause it was cold and her Auntie Leslie was prepared for her unlike me ;)

And we're back
Wow I hadn't realized just how long it had been since I have been on my blog. We have been so busy with buying our house and getting things done, I haven't had much time. When we bought our house it wasn't the prettiest thing but some minor changes helped out a lot. We put in all new flooring, new molding and base, framed out the windows and put in window sills, and painted everything! It looks a lot better to say the least. We started on the outside by getting rid of some unnecessary concrete and planting some fruit trees but it stopped there till we get some more funds ;) All in all it has been fun but will be nice when it is over!
Lucy loves her swing in the backyard!
And pathetic as it is but that is about all the pictures I have unless I put up Christmas pictures. Yikes! And I guess you can tell who is always taking the pictures (the one not in them haha!)
