I am finding it a bit harder to find my time. Between changing diapers, feeding babies, bathing little booties, soothing Daisy, kissing my babies, making dinner, trying to keep a somewhat clean house, playing with Lucy, reading scriptures, laundry, and trying to be a good YW leader; it is a wonder I am able to find my camera and take a few pictures! And yeah I know I only have 2 kids! I am still just getting used to it though. Slowly, very slowly but it will happen some day. Probably when I am about to have another baby but it will happen.
So, yesterday I was just trying to find my hair brush so I could dry my hair before going to a church meeting, was that so much to ask? To look half way decent one day out of the week? Yes, of course it was, because Lucy likes to brush her hair as well, with the same brush so where the devil did she put it?? I looked for 20 minutes plus. I mean our house isn't that big. I even dared to go into her room while she was napping. How many places could she possibly put it? Well I never did find it and had to make do with a different brush (it worked but my hair was half dry by that point). Anyways I found it today, Lucy decided to put it in her own special drawer in her room. Little booger, I guess I better get used to sharing with 2 girls growing up
in my house. But time or not, I love these little gals and I would do anything for them. I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with them everyday and to be their mama.
I love this sweet, chubby face!

Another thing I share, she has some what of a shoe fetish.

The other night when I was going to put her in her crib, she ran into her little play house and decided she wanted to sleep there. So I found her sacked out like this an hour later still with her tooth brush in hand. Oh and don't mind the messy room this is one of the days I didn't keep up on my housework.

Halloween in Utah

Lucy loved it when she realized she just had to knock on peoples door and they would giver her candy.
Haha, cute pictures! When Caleb was first born and Ethan was only 19 months old, it was hard. To help cut back on chores, I kept Ethan only in his diaper and Caleb in blankets and diaper so I didn't have to do so much laundry. :) Yeah- I'm a bad mom. I know how you feel and even though it's only 2 -it's HARD work. Mostly because both are SO little. Now it's much easier. But that will change when this baby comes. lol
ReplyDeleteYour little beauties are just that! I think it's so cute you have those two! You are amazing, and this is what life's about right now. Isn't that awesome? I know it's so difficult, I find it easier when I just say, oh well, what didn't get done today will get done...... sometime, and the kids could care less and they are happy and healthy so we at least have that going for us right? I have no CLUE how you are doing the whole YW thing! I am pretty sure I would feel like I would want to die a little. Anyway, that just means you are super!
ReplyDeleteGive your little girls a hug from their friend Naomi! Hope to see you soon! I miss chatting with you!
What little cuties. It will be fun having those girlies around as they get older. Has Lucy put on your make-up yet? haha
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I really am doing good, some days are bad, but overall, I feel blessed. Thanks for keeping my in your prayers. I am sure you are an incredible mother...what lucky girls!
I can only imagine how busy you are with 2 little ones. They are so cute! Ryan is obsessed with shoes too (I'm sure most girls are)...Billy let her wear her water shoes to church last week b/c she thought the bright yellow was the coolest thing!
